This article applies to the following models:
NHG9D,NHG9D5D,NHG4D
LMG9T, LMG3T, LMG3T5D, LMG2, LMG35D, LMG25D
CXG4D,CXG4D5D

For those systems ordered from us, we assign all sensors a default zone number, you can easily change it if it does not fit your need.

This will applies to wireless accessories including door sensor, motion detector, smoke detector, etc. Just different sensors will have jumper positions on board, but it is not difficult to find out the pattern.

Take a door sensor as an example.

Image

Step 1: locate the 8 rows of jumpers for sensor ID
Step 2: adjust the jumpers so each zone has an unique arrangement.
Step 3: re-learn the sensors affected to your alarm panel

* There is no relation between the jumpers arrangement and the zone number. The zone number is assigned by the alarm panel on First Come First Served Basis. In that sense, if an alarm panel is brand new with clear memory, the zone no. 1 will be assigned to the first sensor learnt.

To assign name for the zone:
123456#81#Front Door Open#

* 81 above means the 1st zone
* 82 means the 2nd zone and applied to the token for other zones
* This changing name SMS command is not applicable to CX series.
That's all.
