Troubleshooting Guide for PD Low Speed Dome CCTV System

Step by step:
- start from simpliest setup
- connect only the power cord, make sure 24V AC with 2A is connecting (recommend confirming the voltage and current by a handheld meter)
- the speed dome should start with a self-test, you'll see it rotating horizontally and vertically
- disconnect the power
- set switches on speed dome for protocol and baud rate and ID, make sure they match exactly your controlling device
- connect the RS485 cable, make -ve and +ve correct, no reversed.
(recommend have both controlling device and speed dome side by side with a few meters cable length)
- with both ends systems reboot
- see if working.
if not, suggest
- change something one by one, repeat above sequence if suitable
e.g. change cable, change setting, controlling device, or even speed dome, just to find more information for troubleshooting.
